CLUB MEMBERSHIP
Triangle Area Polo has an exciting season planned and openings for new playing members to join!
Club members will be able to participate in two different levels of tournament play this season:
Club Tournaments are open to all members and will consist of 2 chukkers and only require a single horse (players with 2 horses can enter twice). Players will rotate teams. Points will be accumulated and a high point player will be awarded at the end of season banquet.
Silver Series Tournaments are targeted at more experienced players - games will consist of 4 chukkers and require 2 horses. Players will rotate teams. Trophies or silver will be awarded to the winner of each match. Players will accumulate points throughout the season and a club Grand Champion will be awarded at the end of season banquet.
Practice chukkers will be held on several Saturday mornings or afternoons each month. On days when there is a Silver Series Tournament scheduled practice chukkers will also be held beforehand for those not playing in the tournament match.
Tailgating matches will be be held on Saturday afternoons this year. These matches are open to the public - invite your friends and family to tailgate by the side of the field and learn about the sport of polo!
There may also be opportunities this season for club members to play in the USPA Women's WCT tournaments or the NYTS tournaments for kids, or to arrange an exchange with other USPA polo clubs during the year.
